Long-Term Care Ombudsman

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program receives and investigate all complaints and problems that trouble residents or their families. We serve the nursing home residents in the KIP)DA District, in the counties of Bullit, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble. The primary activity of the LTC Ombudman program is the identification, investigation and resolution of these complaints to the satisfaction of the nursing home resident. Our concerns encompass all aspects of resident care, resident rights, physician services, and questions or problems with Medicaid and Medicare. We also have a Volunteer Ombudsman Program if you should be interested in working with the concerns of the frail, elderly in our community.
