Services will be directed toward enabling clients to realize their full potential. All parties are entitled to privacy and confidentiality.

At Catholic Charities, agency-assisted Open Adoption means both the birth families and the adoptive family are prepared for an individualized adoption plan. Maternity Services are available to pregnant women without regard to race, religion, age or economic status.
Services to Birthparents
- Supportive counseling before and after the birth of your child
- An opportunity to design an adoption plan with the degree of openness to suit your needs
- Choices in the selection of the adoptive family
- Assistance in developing a relationship with the adoptive family
- NO PRESSURE. After the baby is born, we will support you in whatever plan you decide is best, including parenting your child yourself
Services to Adoptive Parents
- Preparation to understand the unique issues of adoptive parenting
- Help in developing the relationship with the birthparents
- An experienced adoption worker present through the emotional hospital experience
- An intermediary in case misunderstanding arises
- Education in handling your child's feelings about adoption
